IMI Industrial Services Group was the General Contractor for a steam and condensate piping replacement for one of our customers. The project required detailed planning for compact logistics and a quick schedule. The project consisted of installing a new underground steam piping system to replace an existing failing system. IMI’s Civil and Piping Divisions self-performed installing 700-feet of steam piping and insulation 12-feet below existing grade. Given the compact logistics of the site, the project required the installation of continuous trench shoring and a slide rail system to construct a new underground cast-in-place concrete vault. All disturbed landscapes and hardscapes were restored back to existing conditions. With the hard work of our employees and subcontractors we were able to finish the project on time and under budget.
